[Journey] A Touch of Seoul – Day #4

If you my loyal readers are looking for a photo post that contains no Dorayaki’s long-ass story and annoying complaints about how hurt her legs were for walking too much or how much money she wasted on her postcards, you hit the right place. This was my last day in Seoul before I got back to Ho Chi Minh city. Since my flight was scheduled at 18.00, I had a whole morning for another tour.

This tour was completely free and led by a local. Remember the ajusshi I met on the day 3? He said that he would be around Insadong area in the morning, if I wanted to join him, he would pick me up at my hotel and we would go together. On my initial plan, I would spend this morning strolling around Ssamzigil to get more postcards. So walking around would be a good idea to keep me away from spending money again.

It came as a surprise that the ajusshi was a former Korean Nation University graduate. How could he manage to get there?

[Journey] A Touch of Seoul – Day #3

My dear loyal readers,

I am truly sorry for keeping you waiting for this third part of my Korean trip series so long. I have been through a pretty tough week after I came back so unable to get this and the final parts done. Imagine people’s brain is a memory on which if we store too much information, will be exploded very soon. I; as a matter of fact, had some difficulties trying to recall sweet memories of my Korean trip by scrolling hundred photos I took. Before they are completely replaced by 19 eastern suburbs of Melbourne, I have to finish writing them down as soon as possible.

Why do Melbourne’s 19 eastern suburbs have something to do here? You will find the answer down in my post.

Life is absolutely a chain of challenges when you have to excel in your career, maintain a social life, drink enough water, exercise, text everyone back and be happy. But I still manage to be too pure, too cute, too fresh and too young haha.

Could not get my joke? That is OK, not your fault. Just sometimes my sarcasm is hard to get.

[Journey] A Touch of Seoul – Day #2

When planning for my Korean trip, since I would be staying in Seoul for 4 days, I wanted to have a trip outside Seoul. I researched mountain hiking tours but much to my disappointment, it required a minimum of 3 people booking that the tour would be operated, otherwise, I had to pay 540,000 won for an entirely private trip. No way that I was going to waste my precious money haha. So I emailed to ask the tour agency, they suggested me Nami Island, which is also a popular tourist attraction. This place was once a film locator of Korean’s big hit drama “Winter Sonata”. I heard that the drama was a bomb in Japan that Bae Jong Yoon, the male lead, was called Yoon sama in Japan. I wanted to meet more Japanese people too, why not this tour?

It somehow reminded of another film locator I visited previously which is The Hobbit in New Zealand. Oh my New Zealand feels~

[Journey] A Touch of Seoul – Day #1

I am back. Dorayaki is back from her Korean trip which lasted for 4 days and 3 nights. This is the first time I have travelled alone and I got so many things to deal with: visa, airplane ticket, hotels and places to visit. My dearest readers have no ideas what I have been through and when getting my footstep in Ho Chi Minh city on May 1st, I felt like a heroine accomplishing her missions. Everything is a completely new experience to me which I want to capture every single moment, so I will divide my Korean trip into 3 parts. Oh, I have not done trip series ever since my Dubai trip in 2015. Missing my old passionate days so much!

[Journey] Qing Fei De Yi: 5 things that I can’t help falling in love with New Zealand

I just got back from 2 week vacation from New Zealand – Australia trip which to be exact took place at the end of April (You must be wondering why it took me so long to write this post, I will explain everything in my next post). It was such a memorable and costly trip (worth it though). If any of you wants to plan for an overseas trip, I would love to recommend New Zealand). Personally, I prefer New Zealand to Australia (but Melbourne is definitely a love) and here are some reasons.

PS: Ok. I have been busy and missed writing a lot of wonderful trips including Taiwan, Binh Chau and Vung Tau… Qing Fei De Yi (Can’t help falling in love with you) was originally the title of my Taiwan trip which was a shame that I did not remember anything, except for buying a phone charger which burnt my Iphone battery. It is just too good to be skipped, so I name it my New Zealand trip, which sounds a bit random! Of course, Cheese is always my best travelling buddy!

[Journey] A taste of Dubai- Day #1

During 6- day vacation, I and my sister, whom I call Cheese, took a trip to Dubai. Yes. A populous city and one of 7 emirates in the United Arab Emirates. It was a substitute when our Taipei plan was cancelled. This journey turned out to be a feel-good trip, a new fresh wind and a perfect haven for the soul that was almost sucked out of by busy working routine.
